Blogger, Classic & Gray

Follow Michele on her blog and Instagram

I have always loved anything style-related but my blog, Classic & Gray, came about in an unconventional way. In October of 2014, I became very ill with a debilitating health condition. After many months of being consumed by my illness, I decided that even though I didn't feel well, I no longer wanted to look sick in the process.

I am a firm believer in "get up, dress up, show up, and never give up" so in August of 2015, I decided to make the best of my situation and create Classic & Gray, a positive space to document all of the things I love. Through sharing outfits, beauty tips, home decor, and pieces of my life, I hope to inspire others to pursue their passions despite the obstacles they may face along the way.

What is your MICHELE story?

I first heard about MICHELE after it was brought to my attention that there was a luxury watch company with the same spelling as my name. As a "Michele" with one L, I've never been able to find anything with my name on it. I used to beg my parents to change my name to "Michelle" and they would tell me every time that they specifically chose my name, spelling it with one L, because it was beautiful and different. Although the namesake initially peaked my interest, once I saw the MICHELE watch collection, I instantly felt the same way about them...they were beautiful and different.

Why did you choose the Deco Diamond two-tone?

My then-boyfriend, now-husband completely surprised me with the Diamond Deco for my 25th birthday. The gift meant so much to me because not only did he pick it out himself, he specifically chose the two-tone band because I wear both silver and gold. I've worn it nearly every day since so he did a great job (and won me over!).

What do you love best about your MICHELE?

In addition to the timelessness of MICHELE watches, I really love their versatility. My watch makes a statement whether worn alone or stacked with bracelets and I love to change the band dependent upon the look I'm going for. My MICHELE watches are some of my most treasured pieces and I know they will be for many years to come.
